Commercial types like Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus thynnus), Dusky Grouper (Epinephelus marginatus), water Bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) or Hake (Merluccius merluccius) are considered threatened or Near Threatened with extinction in the local degree due primarily to overfishing.
